Having the coaches as my mentors was the main factor that got me from 10NL to 1kNL in 8 months. This was also prior to the creation of the PWR simplified strategies that I still use to this day. They taught me how to work and study as a professional poker player through efficient database work, simplified strategies, and hand reviews. I was one of the first PWR students, and if I had today’s content at my disposal when I first started, it would have been an even smoother process with less guesswork.

Questions serious players ask.

Review the requirements and program model before sending your application.

Read all FAQs
01What are the requirements to join PWR?

Applicants must currently be winning at 50NL or higher. Your application should include a recent sample of at least 50,000 hands so the team can evaluate your current game and progress. A larger sample is helpful when available.

02What is expected of an accepted student?

Students are expected to attend and participate in the weekly virtual group sessions, stay active in the PWR community, and use the program’s study resources. You should also be ready to dedicate at least 30 hours per week to studying and playing.

03Does PWR offer staking deals?

PWR does not typically offer staking deals. In some cases, the team may stake a student or roll over profit splits after a strong working relationship has been established.

04Can I book coaching at an hourly rate?

No. PWR coaching is available exclusively through the coaching-for-profit program and is not sold as standalone hourly sessions.
